Rusty Gibbs is a North Carolina native and graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He moved from London to Charlotte in 1999 and is a licensed commercial real estate broker in North and South Carolina. 

With more than 20 years of real estate experience, Rusty focuses on land, development, and complex real estate decisions while also advising clients across office, retail, and industrial real estate. He helps property owners, families, developers, investors, and businesses understand their real estate, identify opportunities, and determine the best path forward. 

A particular focus of Rusty’s practice is helping families and ownership groups navigate inherited or long-held real estate. He works with clients to understand value and development potential, evaluate disposition strategies, and coordinate with their tax, legal, and financial advisors when considering what comes next. 

Rusty serves on the Board of Directors for the Charlotte Region Commercial Board of Realtors (CRCBR) and is Chair of its Education Committee. He lives in Charlotte’s Plaza Midwood neighborhood with his wife, Laura, and their three sons
