Marshall Ranson is a broker at Ascent, specializing in investment sales, landlord representation, and the sales of land and office properties throughout the Charlotte MSA. Since joining Ascent in 2018, Marshall has driven the leasing efforts of over 600,000 SF of retail space throughout the Carolinas as well as advised numerous clients on the acquisitions and dispositions of investment assets. Marshall's clients include landlords, regional & national developers, private investors, and REITs, and he provides a deep market knowledge and diligent underwriting. 

Before Ascent, he earned a degree in Economics and Entrepreneurship from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and the Charlotte Region Commercial Board of Realtors. Outside of work, Marshall enjoys golfing, tennis, and spending time with his family.
